Job summary

Planon in Nijmegen is seeking an HR Operations & Payroll Specialist to ensure smooth HR processes, accurate payroll changes, and high‑quality employee service. You will bridge HR, Finance, IT and HR platforms while contributing to a scalable, data‑driven HR operating model.

You will join an international team, work in a hybrid setup, and help optimise HR workflows with Planon and related applications. The role emphasizes accuracy, service orientation and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR Operations, Payroll, HR Shared Services or similar environments.
• Administrative HR processes and payroll support experience.

As HR Operations & Payroll Specialist, you play an important role in delivering reliable, efficient and people-focused HR services. You work within the HR Team and act as the connecting link between employees, managers, HR, Finance, IT and our digital HR platforms.

In this role, you ensure that HR processes run smoothly, payroll changes are processed accurately and employees can rely on excellent service. You also actively contribute to the continued development of a scalable, data-driven and future‑ready HR operating model.

• Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers with HR and payroll questions.
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract changes, leave processes and offboarding.
• Process and verify HR and payroll changes with a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain the quality, completeness and accuracy of HR data.
• Support the administration and use of HR systems, including Planon and connected applications.
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation and self‑service solutions.
• Contribute to knowledge management, digital innovation and AI‑supported HR services.

Salary range: € 3.300 - 5.693 gross per month, depending on experience.

This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role, based on objective, role‑related criteria. The total compensation package includes variable compensation and additional benefits.
