Job summary

Yusen Logistics (Deutschland) GmbH is seeking an HR Business Partner to partner with managers across Schiphol or Moerdijk, ensuring effective HR solutions in a hybrid setup (2 days remote per week). The role involves translating business needs into people actions, supporting recruitment, managing absenteeism, and implementing HR policies for continuous improvement.

You will work with cross-functional leadership to align people strategy with business goals, leveraging HRIS and MS Office tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Several years in a broad HR advisory role (HRBP/HR Advisor/HR Generalist).
• Solid knowledge of Dutch employment law and absenteeism management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers on performance management, employee relations and talent development.
• Translate HR strategy into practical actions across Schiphol and Moerdijk branches.

This role can be based in either Schiphol or Moerdijk. To stay closely connected to both operations, you will work from the other location approximately once per week.

Your Responsibilities for :

• Partner with and advise managers on a wide range of HR topics, including performance management, employee relations, talent development and employment legislation.
• Translate the HR and People Strategy into practical initiatives and actions across your assigned branches.
• Support and coordinate recruitment activities, helping managers attract and select the right talent.
• Lead absenteeism and case management processes, supporting managers with sustainable employability and return-to-work initiatives.
• Implement and embed new and existing HR policies, procedures and organisational change initiatives.
• Take ownership of designated HR topics and drive continuous improvement within your area of responsibility.
• Analyse HR data and prepare reports that support informed decision-making by management.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, internal policies, quality standards and corporate guidelines.

Your Profile for :

• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology or a related field.
• Several years of experience in a broad HR advisory role, such as HR Business Partner, HR Advisor or HR Generalist.
• Solid knowledge of Dutch employment law, absenteeism management and HR best practices.
• Proven experience advising and influencing stakeholders at different levels within an organisation.
• Affinity with operational environments such as logistics, supply chain, transportation or other fast-paced industries.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
• A proactive, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, balancing business objectives with employee needs.
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• Experience working with HR systems, HR reporting and Microsoft Office applications.
