Job summary

EW Facility Services is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for the NH Atlanta Rotterdam, located on Coolsingel in Rotterdam. The role leads a housekeeping team to ensure clean, welcoming guest rooms and facilities, with a focus on quality and guest satisfaction.

You will manage daily schedules, inspect rooms, and coordinate with front desk while also supporting cleaning duties as needed. The position requires leadership experience in housekeeping, and candidates living in or near Rotterdam are

Qualifications

• Experience supervising colleagues or teams.
• Experience in housekeeping supervision or similar role.
• Willingness to work Monday–Sunday, including weekends.

We offer

• Gross hourly wage starting from €16.70, depending on your experience*
• Salary paid every 4 weeks, resulting in 13 payments per year
• Travel allowance of €0.14 per kilometer from 20 kilometers per day
• 8% holiday allowance, paid in May
• 10% vacation hours accrual and a 5% year-end bonus
• 26 vacation days based on a full-time contract, plus an extra day off on your birthday
• An 8-month contract with a one-month probation period and the prospect of a permanent contract

Your job

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you ensure that daily operations run smoothly. You lead the team, monitor room quality, and assist with cleaning when needed. Together, you create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest.

Your Responsibilities

• Creating daily schedules and distributing tasks
• Inspecting guest rooms and taking corrective action when needed
• Leading, supporting, and motivating team members
• Maintaining communication with the front office regarding room status and special requests
• Assisting with cleaning duties when required

Working Hours

You are flexible and available to work from Monday through Sunday. Shifts are typically scheduled between 08:00 and 17:00, depending on occupancy levels and operational needs.

You are

• Flexibly available from Monday through Sunday (including at least two weekends per month)
• An experienced housekeeping professional with leadership skills
• Able to communicate in Dutch and/or English
• Independent, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
• Living in Rotterdam or the surrounding area

Experience supervising colleagues and handling basic administrative tasks is an advantage.
