Job summary

EW Facility Services voert in citizenM Schiphol Amsterdam de housekeeping-diensten uit en zoekt een ervaren supervisor voor het team. Jij begeleidt en motiveert collega's, bewaakt de kwaliteit van de kamers en verdeelt dagelijkse taken binnen het team.

Je hebt ervaring in hotel housekeeping, kunt goed communiceren in het Engels en bent flexibel, met beschikbaarheid in minstens twee weekenden per maand. Reizen naar Schiphol is nodig.

Qualifications

• Ervaring in hotel housekeeping.
• Bij voorkeur ervaring als Supervisor/ Teamleider of vergelijkbaar.
• Collega's motiveren en ondersteunen.
• Overzicht behouden tijdens drukte.
• Goede Engelse communicatie.
• Flexibel en beschikbaar op minimaal 2 weekenden per maand.
• Bereid om naar citizenM Schiphol Amsterdam te reizen.

Responsibilities

• Toezicht houden op het housekeeping-team en hen ondersteunen.
• Kamers controleren en zorgen dat ze aan kwaliteitsnormen voldoen.
• Dagelijks werk organiseren en taken verdelen.
• Nieuwe collega's ondersteunen en trainen.
• Planning, kwaliteit en productiviteit bewaken.
• Communiceren met het hotel en EW-collega's.
• Het team bijspringen wanneer nodig.

Job description

Wij bieden

• Gross hourly wage from €16.70, depending on your work experience*
• Salary paid every 4 weeks, giving you 13 payments per year
• Travel allowance of €0.14 per kilometre when travelling more than 20 kilometres per day
• 8% holiday allowance, paid in May
• 10% accrual of holiday hours and a 5% year-end bonus
• 26 vacation days based on full-time employment, plus an extra day off on your birthday
• An 8-month contract, including a 1-month probationary period, with the possibility of a permanent contract

*Gross hourly wage applies from age 20.

Jouw baan

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you work together with the housekeeping team and help make sure everything runs smoothly during the day.

You will:

• Supervise and support the housekeeping team
• Check guest rooms and make sure they meet the required quality standards
• Help organise the daily work and divide tasks within the team
• Support and train new colleagues
• Keep an eye on planning, quality and productivity
• Communicate with the hotel and your EW colleagues
• Help the team when needed

Work Schedule

• Between 09:00 and 16:30,
• 30–35 hours per week.
• At least 2 weekends per month.

Jij bent

• Experienced working in hotel housekeeping
• Preferably have experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader or in a similar role
• Can motivate and support colleagues
• Can keep a good overview during busy moments
• Can communicate well in English
• Flexible and available at least 2 weekends per month
• Can easily travel to citizenM Schiphol Amsterdam
