Job summary

EW Facility Services zoekt Room Attendant voor Hotel De L’Europe Amsterdam. Je zorgt voor een schone, frisse en perfect voorbereide kamer voor gasten terwijl je ongeveer 30-35 uur per week werkt.

Het luxueuze hotel legt de nadruk op service en oog voor detail en biedt kansen om te groeien in een internationaal team. Startende salariëring is bruto per uur, met extra voordelen en trainingen.

Qualifications

• Beschikbaar voor 30-35 uur per week en minimaal 2 weekenden per maand.
• Kan rond 09:00 beginnen en werkt tot ongeveer 17:00.
• Goede communicatie in het Engels is vereist.
• Hygiëne- en detailgerichtheid; samenwerking in een internationaal team.

Responsibilities

• Schoonmaken en voorbereiden van hotelkamers en badkamers.
• Bedden opmaken en beddengoed wisselen.
• Handdoeken en gastbenodigdheden vervangen.
• Zekerstellen dat elke kamer schoon en aangenaam is voor de volgende Gast.
• Beschadigingen of ontbrekende artikelen rapporteren.
• Samenwerken met collega's zodat alle kamers op tijd klaar zijn.

Wij bieden

• Gross hourly salary starting from €15.52, depending on your work experience*
• Salary paid every 4 weeks, so you receive 13 payments per year
• Travel allowance from 20 kilometres per day of €0.14 per kilometre
• 8% holiday allowance, paid in May
• 10% holiday hours accrual and 5% year-end bonus
• 26 vacation days based on a full-time contract, plus an extra day off on your birthday
• 7-months contract with 1 month prooftime
• The opportunity to obtain your SVS Cleaning Certificate (basic cleaning training)
• Training and development opportunities to grow into positions such as Housekeeping Supervisor

As Room Attendant at Hotel De L’Europe Amsterdam, you make sure guests arrive in a clean, fresh and perfectly prepared room.

De L’Europe is a luxury hotel where service, quality and attention to detail are very important. It is a great place to gain valuable experience in professional hotel housekeeping while working 30-35 hours per week by:

• Cleaning and preparing hotel rooms and bathrooms
• Making beds and changing bed linen
• Replacing towels and guest supplies
• Making sure every room looks clean, tidy and ready for the next guest
• Reporting damages or missing items
• Working together with your colleagues to make sure all rooms are ready on time

Working Schedule

• 5 days per week, for a total of 30-35 hours.
• At least 2 weekends per month.
• Your shift starts around 09:00 and usually finishes around 17:00. On busy days, you may finish a little later, depending on when the rooms are ready.

• Available for 30-35 hours per week & at least 2 weekends per month
• Able to start your shift around 09:00
• Able to communicate well in English.
• Someone who works carefully and pays attention to details
• Comfortable with physical work and being active
• A team player who enjoys working with an international team
• Living nearby Amsterdam
• Experience in housekeeping is helpful, but motivation and willingness to learn are just as important.

Because you work in a luxury hotel with direct contact with guests, there are professional grooming standards. During working hours, visible tattoos should be covered and visible piercings should be removed or covered where possible. These standards apply to all employees working in guest areas.
