De Pijp Boutique Hotel in Amsterdam is seeking a detail-oriented, energetic Housekeeping Attendant to uphold our luxury standards. You will clean guest rooms to boutique luxury levels, maintain spotless public areas, and ensure corridors and reception spaces feel welcoming and pristine, following cleaning checklists closely.

This Min-Max contract offers guaranteed hours with additional shifts during busy periods.

Qualifications

• An Eye for Detail; you notice the little things that matter to guests.
• Team player who helps coworkers and works efficiently.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends/holidays.
• Experience in hotel housekeeping is a plus but a can-do attitude matters most.
• Basic English or Dutch to coordinate with management and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms to luxury boutique standards (beds, linens, bathrooms).
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, reception spaces, and corridors.
• Keep housekeeping trolley clean and linen closets stocked correctly.
• Follow cleaning checklists and work with the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly.

Position Summary

To keep our rooms flawless and maintain our luxury standard, we are looking for a detail-oriented, energetic Housekeeping Attendant to join our team immediately. In this role, you are the backbone of our guest satisfaction. You will ensure that our boutique rooms, luxury corridors, and public reception spaces are spotlessly clean, organized, and welcoming. Because we operate on a Min-Max contract, your hours will fluctuate week‑to‑week depending on hotel occupancy, making this role perfect for someone who loves flexibility but wants guaranteed minimum hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Room Cleaning: Clean and prepare guest rooms to luxury boutique standards (making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms thoroughly).
• Public Areas: Maintain the cleanliness of our reception area, hallways, and guest corridors so the hotel always looks pristine.
• Trolley & Closet Care: Keep your housekeeping trolley clean, organized, and free of trash, ensuring linen closets are systematically stocked (no mixing single and double sheets!).
• Standards & Checklists: Follow strict cleaning checklists and work closely with our Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure everything passes inspection.
• Reporting: Promptly report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items in guest rooms.

What We Are Looking For

• An Eye for Detail: You notice the little things that make a big difference to a guest. You cannot stand chaos or half‑done jobs.
• Team Player: You work fast, efficiently, and are happy to help colleagues out when needed.
• Flexibility: Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as hotel occupancy shifts.
• Experience (Plus): Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is a strong advantage, but a proactive "can‑do" attitude is what matters most.
• Communication: Basic English or Dutch communication skills to coordinate effectively with the hotel manager and supervisors.
