Hotel Arena is looking for Housekeeping team members!

Who are we?

We are a monumental, intimate, four‑star hotel located in the most beautiful park in Amsterdam: the Oosterpark.

Bound by a love for art, design, music, travel, photography, and good food, Hotel Arena is a place where people meet, inspire, and enrich one another.

Our building, dating back to 1888, has transformed over the years from a Roman Catholic girls’ orphanage to a youth hostel, and now into a four‑star hotel. The rich history is combined with modern design across 141 fully renovated hotel rooms, our café‑restaurant, five creative meeting and event studios, the Salon, and the Chapel. We’re the perfect location for events, exhibitions, meetings, concerts or simply an extraordinary night in one of our iconic rooms.

The Housekeeping Department

As you can imagine, a building like this requires a lot of cleaning. That’s why, alongside our own team, we also work with the cleaning company MAS. Our housekeeping team is diverse and close‑knit, like a cozy family. In addition to our 141 unique hotel rooms, we also take care of the meeting rooms and our showpiece: the Chapel. Working in and around such a beautiful location is no hardship!

In addition to your cleaning skills, you are:

• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
• Knowledgeable about various cleaning products and methods
• Flexible with your availability; weekends are no problem for you
• Highly responsible and detail‑oriented, you want guests to walk into a spotless room
• Physically fit
• Living in or near Amsterdam, and easily able to reach us by bike or public transport
• Comfortable speaking either Dutch or English (Spanish is a bonus!)
