Job summary

IT Solutions Wordwide is hiring a Heavy Machinery Mechanic for an overseas opportunity in the Netherlands. You will repair and maintain diesel engines, hydraulic systems and various heavy equipment, with on-site and workshop work as required.

The role suits an experienced Heavy Machinery Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Diesel/ Hydraulic Mechanic who can work independently and adapt to different machines and environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with heavy machinery or heavy equipment.
• Experience repairing and/or overhauling hydraulic pumps.
• Experience repairing and/or overhauling diesel engines.
• Good knowledge of machinery maintenance and mechanical components.
• Experience with gearboxes, differentials, hydraulic systems or similar components is an advantage.
• Knowledge of electronics, pneumatics and welding is an advantage.
• Able to troubleshoot mechanical problems and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul of hydraulic pumps.
• Repair and overhaul of diesel engines.
• Maintenance and servicing of heavy machinery and heavy equipment.
• Working on gearboxes, slew rings, differentials and other mechanical components.
• Troubleshooting mechanical problems and finding practical solutions.
• Working on agricultural machinery, earthmoving equipment and other heavy equipment.
• Workshop-based mechanical work, with occasional work at customer locations.
• General mechanical work, with opportunities to assist with welding and other workshop activities.
