Job summary

DSV is seeking a Team Leader Healthcare Import at its Schiphol operation. You will manage a growing import air freight forwarders team in healthcare logistics, ensuring operational activities run smoothly and supporting colleagues to develop professionally.

You will lead day-to-day operations, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and uphold high standards of customer service and compliance in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• HBO level of working and thinking.
• At least 5 years’ work experience in freight forwarding, preferably in import air freight.
• Experience of managing or supervising colleagues in an operational environment.
• Good command of spoken and written Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the healthcare import team and ensure shipments are handled efficiently, compliantly, and with a strong customer focus.
• Plan and process air freight shipments on time while monitoring deadlines and temperature requirements.
• Monitor KPIs, financial targets, quality standards, and customer satisfaction; adjust as needed to achieve results.
• Coach, motivate and develop employees and empower the team to achieve objectives.
• Involve in HR-related matters, including performance reviews, absence management and sustainable employability initiatives.
