Job summary

The British School in The Netherlands is seeking a part-time Health Care Officer for Senior School Leidschenveen. The role is 20% (one day per week, seven hours on Friday) and sits within the health and wellbeing team supporting 310+ students aged 11 to 18.

Responsibilities include delivering first aid, creating care plans, and coordinating with healthcare professionals to ensure student-centred care in a diverse international setting.

Qualifications

• Current nursing qualification from a governing body that requires regular re-registration linked to professional development.
• Recent experience working with children and providing first aid.
• Right to work in the Netherlands.

The role

A part-time Health Care Officer vacancy exists at Senior School Leidschenveen. The role is 20% (one day per week, seven hours on Friday) and forms part of the whole-school health and wellbeing team. At this campus the team comprises one other Health Care Officer and two School Counsellors who work with Key Stage Coordinators and Heads of Year to deliver health and pastoral support to more than 310 students aged 11 to 18.
