Job summary

Enza Zaden is seeking a Manager Procurement to lead a five-to-six person team in the Netherlands and to personally manage a procurement portfolio, including HR and IT-services. You will set direction for procurement policy, category management, and supplier performance, collaborating with Legal, Finance, HR and global partners to drive value and governance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Procurement, or related field; NEVI preferred.
• 9–12 years of relevant procurement experience, including people management in an international environment.
• Strong tactical and strategic procurement, negotiation, and category management skills.
• Experience with HR and/or IT-services contracts and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of five to six procurement professionals; set priorities and allocate resources.
• Maintain and improve procurement policies, procedures, governance, and contract approvals.
• Define direction for category management and translate spend and supplier markets into effective strategies.
• Ensure ownership and reviews of key suppliers and contracts; address performance issues.
• Personally manage an assigned procurement portfolio (HR/IT-services) from requirements through negotiations and renewals.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, HR, R&D/Security, and country stakeholders across regions.
