Job summary

Enza Zaden is seeking a Manager Procurement to lead the Netherlands-based procurement team and personally manage a diverse portfolio including HR and IT-services. You will supervise five to six professionals and report to the CFO, ensuring consistent procurement, category management, and supplier governance across Enza Zaden.

With around €150 million annual global non-direct spend, the role is broad, strategic, and internationally focused.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Procurement, or related field.
• 9–12 years of procurement experience, including people management in an international environment.
• Strong tactical and strategic procurement, commercial, negotiation, category management, and stakeholder management skills; experience with HR/IT services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Procurement team (five to six professionals) and align with CFO.
• Personally manage an assigned procurement portfolio including HR/IT-services, from requirements to contracting and performance management.
• Maintain and improve procurement policies, governance, and contract approvals across countries.
• Set direction for category management and ensure owners translate spend, supplier markets, risks, and business needs into practical approaches.
• Ensure key suppliers have clear ownership, performance measures, and regular reviews, supporting the team in addressing performance issues.
• Collaborate with senior/local managers, Legal, Finance, HR, I&D/Security, partners across countries.
