Job summary

The Ocean Cleanup Technologies B.V. seeks a Head of Media Studio in Rotterdam to lead its in-house creative production team. You will drive strategy, staffing, budgets and quality across video, photography and design to support communications, marketing and fundraising.

This hands-on leadership role requires building scalable processes, measuring KPIs and collaborating with internal stakeholders globally while traveling for productions as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in media or creative production with leadership.
• Experience delivering multimedia content across markets and channels.
• Strong operational experience including budgets, planning, end-to-end workflows.
• Experience translating strategic priorities into executable production plans.
• Strong understanding of brand building, digital platforms and trends.
• Live production or livestreaming is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; Spanish or other languages are a plus.
• Portfolio or reel showing leadership across formats and markets.
• Experience in scale-up environments or with content operations at scale.

Responsibilities

• Operate as an internal production agency, aligning with organizational priorities and external opportunities.
• Lead a high-performing team with clear roles, accountability and development paths.
• Define Media Studio objectives, strategy and roadmap aligned with Communications strategy.
• Establish scalable production operations with workflows, governance, tools and equipment.
• Set KPIs and report on delivery, quality, efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Disciplined budget management across staffing, external suppliers, production and post-production.
• Collaborate with global teams to produce content across markets, languages and contexts.
