Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a senior leader to drive our legal technology strategy, enhance processes and automate workflows across the in-house function. You will lead a team of legal engineers, oversee automation, and design scalable tools, dashboards and governance for risk and performance insights.

Based in Amsterdam, London, or Berlin, you will partner with General Counsel and cross-functional teams to deliver practical, high-impact solutions and foster adoption of new ways of working

Qualifications

• Proven legal solutions expert with hands-on experience designing and deploying legal technology.
• Strong understanding of law and legal work to translate needs into practical, deployable solutions.
• Experience leading a team that includes engineers, bridging legal and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to design scalable workflows, intake and triage, dashboards and knowledge solutions that teams actually adopt.
• Sound judgement in selecting and governing legal technology and AI tooling.
• Strong analytical, change-management and stakeholder skills across lawyers, operational and technical teams.
• Experience in a complex in-house legal function or governance-sensitive environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own legal data and risk intelligence, building dashboards, reporting and metrics for visibility of legal activity, risk and performance.
• Lead and develop the team, including legal engineers, setting direction for building, deploying and maintaining legal tools, agents and automations.
• Design, build and deploy scalable legal solutions - workflows, intake and triage, automation and knowledge management - for recurring legal activity.
• Evaluate, select and govern legal technology and AI tooling, ensuring solutions are safe, well-governed and deliver value.
