Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a senior finance leader to direct finance and administration across multiple entities in the Netherlands within the hospitality sector.

Our client, an established hospitality organisation operating multiple brands and locations, seeks strategic oversight to strengthen governance, reporting and financing activities while guiding expansion and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Finance Director or Head of Finance.
• Experience across multi-entity, multi-site or multi-brand organisations.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, cash-flow forecasting and internal controls.
• Experience dealing with lenders, investors or external stakeholders.
• Leadership of finance teams within a complex operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance and administration team, providing clear direction, coaching and performance management.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities across multiple legal entities.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow planning processes while improving financial visibility across the business.
• Deliver accurate management reporting and KPI dashboards for operational and executive stakeholders.
• Manage liquidity, working capital and intercompany financing arrangements.
• Coordinate audits, tax compliance and statutory reporting in partnership with external advisers.
• Support financing activities, covenant monitoring, scenario modelling and shareholder reporting.
• Identify financial, legal and operational risks and implement effective control frameworks to mitigate them.

Senior finance leadership across a multi-entity operating businessFinancial control, funding and performance management leadership

• Proven experience as a Finance Director, Head of Finance or in a comparable senior finance leadership role.
• Strong background in multi-entity, multi-site or multi-brand organisations.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, cash-flow forecasting and internal controls.
• Experience dealing directly with lenders, investors, shareholders or similar external stakeholders.
• Track record of leading and developing finance teams within a complex operational environment.
• Corporate finance knowledge including financing structures, covenant management and business case modelling.
• Hospitality, retail or consumer-facing sector experience is advantageous.
