With 19.000 expert ice cream colleagues and iconic brands like Wall’s, Cornetto and Ben & Jerry’s, loved in 76 countries, we are the world’s largest Ice Cream company leading the industry.

We create iconic ice cream brands that are part of everyday life, bringing moments of joy to millions of people around the world. Everybody loves ice cream. And as the world’s biggest pure‑play ice cream company, we have the scale and ambition to make a real difference.

What Truly Sets Us Apart Is How We Work

We move fast and keep things simple. We turn ideas into action, trust people to take ownership, and work as one team to win together with integrity. Our culture is high‑performance, collaborative and focused on getting things done.

We’re curious and ready for what’s next. We embrace digital, use data to make better decisions, and keep learning, including how AI can help us work smarter and serve consumers better.

The role

This role is the global strategy architect for Digital Commerce. It connects customer and channel strategy, digital Revenue Growth Management (dRGM), market planning and data‑led decision making into one clear growth agenda for the channel.

The role will set the global Digital Commerce strategy and commercial excellence standards, translate strategy into practical choices and plans for markets, and build the capabilities needed to deliver competitive, profitable growth. It will bring a strong customer and shopper perspective into global decisions while ensuring that data remains a focused enabler of action, rather than a standalone agenda.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Global Digital Commerce Strategy & CSP

  • Own and continuously sharpen the global Digital Commerce channel strategy, defining where to play, how to win, the role of each digital commerce sub‑channel, and the strategic choices required to deliver sustainable growth.
  • Lead the global Customer Strategy & Planning agenda for Digital Commerce, connecting brand ambition, shopper and customer needs, channel dynamics and market execution into a coherent commercial plan.
  • Define global commercial excellence standards, guardrails, toolkits and success measures for the channel, then influence Business Units and markets to embed these within annual and longer‑term planning.
  • Bring the customer and channel voice upstream into portfolio, innovation, route‑to‑market, media, capability and investment choices, and translate global direction into clear market priorities.
  • Identify external trends, disruptive business models and strategic white spaces, converting them into scalable growth choices and a focused innovation roadmap.

Digital Revenue Growth Management (dRGM)

  • Own the global dRGM strategy for Digital Commerce and embed profitable growth thinking into everyday channel decisions, in close partnership with global RGM, CSP, Finance, Marketing and market teams.
  • Build and deploy a practical dRGM framework across the core levers of portfolio and pack‑price architecture, active mix management, promotion effectiveness and trade investment, adapted to the realities of digital channels and available data.
  • Create a pipeline of market and customer growth opportunities, using cell testing and repeatable models to prove value, codify learning and scale the strongest interventions across markets.
  • Guide commercial choices through robust economics, shopper and customer insight, and clear performance measures, while ensuring all pricing and customer recommendations comply with competition‑law requirements.
  • Build dRGM capability through playbooks, tools, learning programmes and hands‑on market coaching, establishing a strong community of practice.

Strategy‑to‑Execution & Performance Management

  • Translate strategy into an integrated global annual plan, priorities, KPIs and governance rhythm, creating a clear line of sight from ambition to market execution and business outcomes.
  • Lead strategic reviews and performance dialogues across markets, identify gaps and opportunities, and recommend resource shifts or corrective actions based on value creation potential.
  • Partner with channel strategy, partnerships, retail media, performance marketing, content, Perfect Store Online and market leads so that plans are connected and mutually reinforcing.
  • Create compelling, insight‑led narratives and recommendations for senior leadership, customers and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Data Strategy, Insights & Enablement

  • Set a focused data and insight strategy that supports customer strategy, dRGM and performance management, including the priority data sources, definitions, governance and decision use cases required for the channel.
  • Maintain fit‑for‑purpose partner data standards and quality assurance, and work with internal and external partners to improve access to actionable customer, shopper, media and commercial insights.
  • Advance predictive analytics and AI‑enabled decision support where these can simplify work, improve choices or accelerate growth, ensuring solutions are scalable and adopted by markets.

Stakeholder Leadership & Capability

  • Act as a senior connector across Digital Commerce, CSP, Customer Development, Marketing, Finance, CMI, RGM, Data and Technology, aligning stakeholders behind a shared strategy and operating model.
  • Influence without authority across global, regional and market teams, balancing clear global standards with local customer realities.
  • Lead, coach and develop talent and project teams, creating an inclusive, high‑performance environment with strong accountability and pace.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
  • Creates choices, connects the big picture and converts ambition into a focused plan.
  • Links brand, category, shopper and customer agendas to channel‑specific growth plans.
  • Understands the value levers behind profitable growth and applies them pragmatically.
  • Builds alignment, navigates complexity and influences at senior levels.
  • Uses evidence and analytics to improve choices and performance.
  • Builds scalable ways of working and drives adoption through markets.
  • Makes complex topics simple, compelling and action oriented.
  • Creates clarity, coaches others and builds an inclusive, accountable team.
Minimum Experience And Qualifications
  • Significant commercial, Customer Development, CSP, digital commerce, category strategy or revenue growth management experience, gained in a complex international business.
  • Proven experience shaping strategy and translating it into commercial plans, priorities, investment choices and measurable execution.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with practical understanding of customers, shoppers, channel economics, portfolio, promotions, trade investment and profitable growth.
  • Excellent stakeholder leadership and influencing skills, with evidence of aligning senior, cross‑functional and geographically dispersed teams without relying on formal authority.
  • Experience using data and insights to frame choices, challenge assumptions and drive decisions, without needing to be a technical data specialist.
  • Clear, persuasive communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complexity for senior leaders and market teams.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a global or regional CSP, commercial strategy, dRGM/NRM or digital commerce leadership role.
  • Experience building and scaling frameworks, playbooks or capabilities across multiple markets and maturity levels.
  • Experience working with omnichannel retailers, rapid‑delivery platforms, aggregators or quick‑service restaurant partners.
