Job summary

The Magnum Ice Cream Company is building a new Europe Trade & Compliance organization. This role will strategically lead and oversee customs valuation, special procedures, and trade regulatory compliance across the EU, UK, and Ireland.

The successful candidate will drive standardized processes, systems and controls to ensure full regulatory compliance and robust risk mitigation. We are seeking a professional with deep knowledge of customs valuation, regulatory requirements and experience with

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance for customs valuation and EU/UK regulatory matters across EU, UK and Ireland.
• Oversee trade regulatory and SPS compliance, including pre-notifications and documentation.
• Manage authorizations, inventory controls, reporting, and audit readiness.
• Support brokers and internal teams with correct procedures and valuation inputs.
• Maintain data accuracy in ERP/GTM systems and governance.

The role

TMICC is building a new Europe Trade & Compliance organization. This role will strategically lead and oversee customs valuation, special procedures, and trade regulatory compliance across the EU, UK, and Ireland. The successful candidate will drive the implementation of standardized processes, systems, and controls, ensuring full regulatory compliance, robust risk mitigation, and efficient duty management operations across all regional flows.

What you'll be responsible for

• Lead compliance for customs valuation and special procedures;
• Manage trade regulatory and sanitary/phytosanitary (SPS) compliance, including pre-notifications and CHED documentation.
• Manage authorizations, inventory controls, reporting, and audit readiness
• Support brokers and internal teams with correct procedures and valuation inputs
• Oversee data accuracy in ERP/GTM systems and maintain strong governance
• Drive risk mitigation, audits, and continuous improvement

We're looking for someone who

• Strong expertise in customs valuation and EU & UK regulatory aspects
• At least minimum 5+ years in customs or trade compliance roles
• Experience with brokers/3PLs and ERP or GTM systems
• Experience in the food industry is a strong advantage
• Fluency in English and German, French is a strong plus
