The Head of Architecture & Business Analysis leads a team of three architects and nine business analysts, with the analysts reporting to their own team lead. In this role, the Head of Architecture & Business Analysis ensures that the IT landscape remains coherent, scalable, high‑quality, and compliant. This includes overseeing new applications such as Player Account Management (PAM) and responsible gaming systems, guiding the technical development of a cross‑sell channel across all lottery brands, and professionalizing data domains through AI and analytics. Innovations are applied strategically, with a focus on maximizing their contribution to Nederlandse Loterij’s commercial outcomes and long‑term strategic objectives.

Nederlandse Loterij’s IT organization comprises around 250 professionals. As part of the Technology Leadership Team, the Head of Architecture & Business Analysis works closely with the Heads of DevOps Lotteries, DevOps iGaming, Data Management, and Infrastructure/Security, reporting directly to CTIO Maartje Geven. In this role, maintaining strong relationships with external partners and IT suppliers is essential, alongside the ability to steer a complex network of internal and external stakeholders.
