Job summary

Keysight in Delft, NL is looking for a motivated Electrical Engineering intern for 3+ months to contribute to hardware and test development.

You will build a testing system for analog PXI cards, design a breakout board, wire up power supplies, AWG and oscilloscope, and script functional tests in Python that feed a test report.

Requirements: enrolled in bachelor or master in EE, experience with Python, PCB design in Altium or Mentor Graphics, on-site in Delft, and minimum 3 months.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor or master program of Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with programming in Python is necessary.
• Experience with designing PCAs in Altium or Mentor Graphics is necessary.
• Experience in hardware testing is desirable.
• Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands.
• School / uni must provide credits for this internship.
• Must work on-site in Delft, NL.
• Must be available for at least 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Development of a testing system for analog PXI cards.
• Develop hardware break-out board that can interface with a PXI card and has connections available for powering it.
• Create a setup where the PXI-card and breakout board combination is connected with power supply, AWG and Oscilloscope.
• Create a (set of) python script(s) that perform functional tests of the PXI card by controlling the auxiliary equipment and write the test results into a generated test report.
