Job summary

Fortaegis Technologies, a fast-scaling semiconductor company, seeks a Hardware Security Engineer to design and secure cryptographic engines. You will implement end-to-end RTL for hardware crypto modules and integrate robust countermeasures to protect against physical attacks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing RTL (SystemVerilog/VHDL) for ASIC or FPGA.
• Deep understanding of cryptographic algorithms (AES, ECC, SHA) and hardware mapping.
• Hands-on experience implementing side-channel countermeasures (masking, thresholds).
• Familiarity with SCA tools (ChipWhisperer or equivalent) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Crypto Module Design: Write high-quality RTL for hardware cryptographic accelerators.
• Countermeasure Implementation: Apply defenses like Masking, Hiding, and fault detection.
• Side-Channel Analysis: Evaluate designs using SCA tools to assess leakage.
• Security Verification: Collaborate on test benches targeting edge cases in crypto logic.
