Hardware IT Warehouse Technician – Huxley

Location: North-Limburg, Netherlands | Full-time | 6 month contract, then converted to internal contract

For one of our retail clients' new distribution centre we are looking for an IT Technician with hands-on experience in warehouse environments. This role focuses on supporting and maintaining operational technology to ensure systems run smoothly in a fast-paced, physical setting.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain warehouse IT hardware (scanners, printers, terminals, mobile devices)
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with internal teams and vendors
• Document processes and create testing plans for hardware and systems
• Train operational staff on warehouse technology and tools
• Support ongoing operations and respond to technical incidents when required

Required experience & skills

• 7+ years in IT, with proven experience in distribution centers, warehouses, or factory environments
• Strong knowledge of MDM tools (SOTI, Intune), Windows 11, Android OS
• Familiarity with Zebra devices, WMS systems, and basic networking (Cisco)
• Practical mindset with a clear understanding of warehouse workflows and physical operations
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical support in an operational setting
• Shift work will be introduced; on-call some weekends (rarely needed)
