NH Hotels & Resorts in Eindhoven is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead technical operations within a large conference hotel, overseeing electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and building systems. You will guide a maintenance team, plan daily work, and coordinate external service partners to ensure seamless guest experiences.

The role emphasizes ownership, proactive problem solving, and the ability to maintain safety and compliance across a 500+ room property with extensive meeting facilities

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Manager, Head of Maintenance or similar
• Hospitality sector experience is a strong advantage
• Strong technical knowledge (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, etc.)
• Proactive, solution-oriented and action-driven mindset
• Comfortable supporting the team on the floor when needed
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible and responsive to technical issues
• Dutch language preferences for daily communication with local teams and suppliers

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the maintenance team
• Create schedules and daily work planning
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities
• Manage electrical, mechanical, sanitary, HVAC and energy systems
• Ensure excellent condition of guest rooms and public areas
• Coordinate external service partners for elevators, air conditioning, cooling and sprinkler systems
• Plan preventive maintenance and inspections
• Supervise renovations and technical projects
• Ensure safety regulations, HACCP standards and legal requirements
• Act quickly in case of malfunctions or emergencies
