Job summary

Hotel Luxer in Amsterdam is seeking a part-time housekeeper to maintain guest rooms and public areas to a high standard. You will ensure rooms are guest-ready, help with room turnover, and support the team in daily cleaning tasks.

Ideal candidates have prior housekeeping experience or motivation to start in hospitality, with good English and/or Dutch communication. The role requires flexibility across days, including weekends, and the ability to perform light lifting and standing for periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality is an advantage, but motivated starters are welcome.
• Good communication skills in English and/or Dutch.
• A reliable, detail-oriented, guest-focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work different days, including weekends.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, and light lifting.
• Living in or able to commute to central Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

• Clean and refresh hotel rooms, including beds, dusting, and bathrooms.
• Maintain public areas to meet quality standards.
• Replenish amenities like towels and toiletries.
• Report maintenance issues or damages as needed.
• Assist with daily cleaning schedule and room turnover.
• Follow hygiene and safety guidelines.
