Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team in Amsterdam. You will perform day‑to‑day maintenance in hotel rooms, public areas and back of house, respond to guest repair requests and carry out preventive maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.

We value curiosity, a can‑do attitude and strong English communication. Dutch is a plus. Flexible shifts and a hospitality mindset are essential for success in our guest‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency essential.
• Dutch language skills a plus.
• Eager to learn and develop in maintenance.

• Flexible for day/evening/weekend shifts.
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance in hotel rooms, public areas and back-of-house.
• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate professionally.
• Carry out proactive maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment and machines.
• Report safety hazards or serious maintenance issues to management.
