Job summary

Ersilia in the Netherlands is seeking experienced Groundworkers for civil engineering and infrastructure projects. You will perform excavation, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation on roadworks and utility installations.

You will join long-term projects with accommodation and transport provided. English is required; a VCA certificate is an advantage; EU citizenship or valid work authorization for the Netherlands is necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Groundworker or in civil construction.
• Knowledge of basic excavation and site preparation work.
• Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Excavation and preparation of construction sites.
• Digging trenches for pipes, cables, and drainage systems.
• Installing sewerage, water, and utility pipelines.
• Backfilling and compacting soil.
• Assisting machine operators and site engineers.
• Ensuring safe and clean working conditions on site.
