Our client works with electricity, gas and telecom and is a specialist in their field. The culture is informal, so everyone gets along with each other in a very easy-going way.
To strengthen their team, they are looking for a driven groundworker. In this role, you will be responsible for excavation work and supporting the construction and maintenance of electrical and gas infrastructures. Together with your fellow groundworkers and crane operators, you will work on various projects in the South Limburg region. You work together with the crane operator. In places where the crane operator cannot reach, or where caution is required because pipes or cables are already present, you get to work. You use the shovel to carry out excavation work. Eventually, you also close up the holes you have dug. In doing so, you level the ground so the road is passable again once you're finished. Of course, you make sure the work can be carried out safely by setting up the proper barriers. It may happen that you need to consult with clients, or provide a brief report at the end of an assignment. Together with your team, you complete every job and are then ready to move on to the next one.
