Job summary

SSC Space Netherlands is seeking a professional to define, develop, and validate the Operational Concept for the Ground Control Segment, and to maintain alignment of the Constellation Operational Concept with the ground segment throughout development, integration, and deployment.

The role involves coordinating with ESA and the industrial consortium, handling contract negotiations, managing complex requirements, and performing risk assessments to propose mitigations, while ensuring end-to-end

Qualifications

• Defined and implemented Operational Concepts for large systems.
• Experience with Ground Segment procurement and integration.
• System engineering expertise, preferably in SATCOM.
• Ability to manage complex requirements and change management.
• Experience in contract negotiations and technical reviews.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and validate the Operational Concept for the Ground Control Segment.
• Maintain alignment of the CONOPS with the ground segment throughout development, integration, and deployment.
• Ensure compliance of building blocks with the Operational Concept and system requirements.
• Support risk management by assessing vulnerabilities and implementing mitigations.
• Liaise with industry on technical requirements lifecycle and collaborate with ESA and industrial partners.
• Ensure TT&C distribution system to remote sites aligns with operational objectives.
