Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with TypeScript and AWS.
• A strong instinct for abstraction and platform design.
• Solid fundamentals in distributed systems and API design.
• Comfort with configuration-driven systems.
• Ownership instinct and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and extend the GRID platform for policy issuance and renewals.
• Design product configuration systems for easy onboarding.
• Own the policy administration layer to maintain domain model cleanliness.
• Implement underwriting logic for product configurations.
• Partner with Operations and Product to translate requirements.
• Set engineering standards for correctness and configurability.
• Manage incidents affecting GRID's operational health.
