Job summary

Prosus is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to bridge traditional design craft with AI tools, creating brand-quality visuals and motion graphics for a global tech portfolio. The six-month role in Amsterdam offers hands-on collaboration with photographers and videographers, plus opportunities to explore AI‑generated content and experimental visuals.

Qualifications

• Formal design training or current design student.
• Portfolio showing strong aesthetic judgment.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere).
• Experience with motion graphics and video editing is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted content creation tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver brand-consistent visual design across digital and print touchpoints.
• Produce motion graphics, animations, and visual effects from concept to delivery.
• Support photo and video production on shoots, editing, and post-production.
• Generate AI-driven content using tools like Veo, Runway, Pika, and evaluate output quality.
• Research new AI tools and trends; surface opportunities for the creative team.
• Contribute to storyboards, prompt design, and experimental visual narratives.

The Problem You'll Solve

Prosus creates content at global scale across 100+ companies and billions of consumers — but the creative toolchain is shifting fast. Generative AI, motion design, and automated production workflows are redefining what a small creative team can ship. We need someone who can bridge classic design craft and emerging AI tools to help us produce brand-quality visuals, motion graphics, and AI-generated content that stands out.

We're looking for a Visual Design Intern who can help us figure out how to integrate AI-driven storytelling into our daily creative output — without sacrificing taste or craft. This is a 6-month hands‑on role with the potential for extension or conversion to a longer term position.

• Deliver brand-consistent visual design across digital and print touchpoints that elevates the Prosus visual identity
• Produce motion graphics, animations, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects, Figma, and related tools from concept through to final delivery
• Support photo and video production alongside our photographer and videographer — on shoots, in editing, and in post‑production
• Generate AI‑driven video and visual content using tools such as Veo, Runway, Pika, and other emerging platforms, and evaluate which deliver production‑quality results
• Research and surface new AI tools and generative media trends, identifying concrete opportunities for the creative team to innovate
• Contribute to storyboards, prompt design, and experimental visual narratives that bridge creativity and technology

Who You Are

You're a design‑school‑trained creative with genuine aesthetic taste — someone who notices the details others miss and cares deeply about craft. You're equally comfortable in Figma and After Effects as you are experimenting with a new AI video tool for the first time. You thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced studio environment and bring curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to get hands dirty across the full production pipeline. You're the kind of person who sees a new tool and immediately wants to break it, understand it, and make something beautiful with it.

You should apply if:

• You have formal design training (design school or equivalent) and a portfolio that shows real aesthetic judgment
• You think in motion — animations, motion graphics, VFX — and know your way around After Effects, Figma, and the Adobe Creative Suite
• You're curious about AI generative tools (Veo, Runway, Pika) and excited to explore their creative potential
• You're comfortable on a production set — supporting photographers and videographers, handling edits and post‑production
• You want to grow into a longer‑term role and are motivated by real projects with real impact

Must have

• Degree in or currently studying at a design school, or equivalent demonstrated background in visual design, graphic design, or a related creative discipline
• Hands‑on proficiency with Figma, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere
• Strong aesthetic sensibility and attention to visual detail, honed through formal design training
• Proficiency in visual storytelling — from concept development through to execution
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
• Curious, self‑motivated, and eager to explore the intersection of design and technology

Nice to have

• Experience in video editing, motion graphics, digital motion graphics, or VFX
• Prior experience or coursework in AI‑assisted content creation using tools like Veo, Runway, or Pika
• Exposure to production workflows — photography, videography, or studio environments
• Understanding of brand identity systems and corporate design standards
