Job summary

Optiver is seeking a Graduate Software Engineer to join our global academy and contribute to mission-critical systems in the fast-paced capital markets. You will work with traders, researchers and engineers to design simple, well-architected solutions, learning the trading stack and gaining hands-on experience from a dedicated mentor.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Graduating by 2026, or up to 3 years of work experience.
Proficient in clean code and well-architected systems.
Strong knowledge of algorithms, memory and concurrency models.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with traders, researchers and engineers to build simple, robust solutions for capital markets.
Develop and optimise code for fast, reliable decision-making.
Engage in interdisciplinary work to keep Optiver competitive in evolving markets.
