Job summary

Optiver is seeking Graduate Equity Analysts to shape our fundamental research-driven trading. You will work on the trading floor with Traders, Quant Researchers and Developers to identify opportunities and back your ideas with research-backed trades.

You will begin with Optiver Academy training and progressively take ownership of company coverage, research ideas and positions as your market knowledge grows. This is a full-time role starting August 2027, based in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM, Finance, Economics or business related subject.
• Available to start full time in August 2027 (graduate by 2027 or ≤3 years experience).
• Interest in financial markets and willingness to learn new techniques/skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify fundamentally driven trading opportunities with traders to maximize desk PnL.
• Perform probabilistic scenario analysis for events and catalysts; assess impact on volatility/stock prices.
• Grow the fundamental research team by developing processes and networks.
• Use AI-enabled tools to organise and analyse news, events and company information.
