Job summary

Optiver is seeking Graduate Equity Analysts to shape our fundamental research-driven trading. You will work on the desk with Traders, Quant Researchers and Developers, using your analysis to inform trading ideas and directly own top ideas with market feedback.

You will start with structured training through the Optiver Academy, then take increasing ownership of company coverage and research-backed trading positions as you develop market knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, Finance, Economics or business-related subject.
• Interest in financial markets and willingness to learn new techniques.

Responsibilities

• Identify fundamentally driven trading opportunities and work with traders to capture them, maximizing desk PnL.
• Think probabilistically and perform scenario analysis for upcoming events and catalysts affecting volatility or stock prices.
• Assist in growing the fundamental research team by developing processes and expanding market insights.
• Use AI-enabled tools to organize and analyze news, events and company information.
