Job summary

TWD is seeking an Engineer in the Marine team to turn client requests into effective installation methods and conceptual designs for offshore projects. You will leverage marine dynamics knowledge to deliver innovative, workable solutions at sea and collaborate with experienced engineers from day one.

Responsibilities include executing marine calculations, ensuring quality and on-time delivery, and serving as the marine liaison for clients.

Qualifications

  • As described, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marine Engineering or related offshore discipline.
  • Exposure to OrcaFlex and/or Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Performing the technical setup and execution of detailed marine calculations and reports: motion analyses, mooring studies, dynamic analyses.
  • Maintaining overview between marine calculations and the structural design.
  • Safeguarding technical quality and timely delivery of project deliverables within budget.
  • Acting as the marine point of contact for clients, translating analyses into practical solutions.

As an Engineer in the Marineteamyou turn client requests into effective installation methods and conceptual designs for offshore projects. You leverage knowledge of marine dynamics and practical operations to develop solutions that are both innovative and workable at sea. You deliver high-quality engineering results that meet client specifications while respecting deadlines and budgets.

A glimpse of your responsibilities:

  • Performing the technical set up and execution of detailed marine calculations and reports:

    • Motion analyses

    • Mooring studies

    • Dynamic analyses

  • Keeping overview between the link between marine calculations and the structural design

  • Safeguarding the technical quality and timely delivery of project deliverables within budget

  • Acting as the marine point of contact for clients, translating analyses into practical solutions

What Makes You Great
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in Marine Engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or Offshore engineering.

  • Exposure to OrcaFlex and/or Python is a plus.
