TWD is seeking an AI Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering team (8 FTE) and lead end-to-end AI projects in Offshore Wind and Heavy Civils. You will build GenAI applications and integrate LLMs to empower engineers and designers.
You will collaborate closely, translate user needs into AI features, demo solutions, and stay current with the AI landscape. A master's in a technical field and hands-on experience with Python, React, and Azure are highly valued.

As an AI Engineer at TWD, you join our Software Engineering team (8 FTE) to build the AI solutions that will reshape our engineering and design projects in Offshore Wind and Heavy Civils. You will pioneer how AI can best be used inside TWD and inspire engineers and designers to work with it.
Build GenAI applications: agents, agentic workflows, and document intelligence
Select and evaluate language models and integrate them via APIs, SDKs and MCPs
Create fine-tuned and RAG models based on TWD's engineering and design data
Build self-learning and agentic systems that improve with use
Translate user needs into working AI features
Bring engineers and designers along by giving demos and collecting feedback
Stay current with the AI landscape and bring new techniques to the team
You own AI projects end-to-end: from scoping through prototyping and development, to deployment, adoption and iteration.

You are the perfect match for TWD if you also have the following skills and experience:
Master's degree in a technical field, including but not limited to:
Computer Science, Data Science or Artificial Intelligence
Applied Mathematics or Econometrics
Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil or Structural Engineering with a strong programming track record
Experienced in Python and/or React
Hands-on experience with LLMs. modern AI frameworks, finetuning and training on domain-specific data
Knowledge of RAG and prompt engineering
Experience working in the Microsoft environment with Azure is preferred
Affinity with engineering and design challenges is a plus

A salary starting from €3,500 gross per month, depending on your experience
