Job summary

Optiver is seeking a Graduate Quantitative Researcher to join our team in Amsterdam. You will apply advanced statistics and write code to support trading strategies on our global, high-performance platform.

As a Graduate Researcher, you will work with world-class Traders and Software Engineers, developing models using stochastic calculus and Monte Carlo methods, and translating insights into production systems. Strong English skills and an academic record are essential.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Engineering, Physics, Maths, Econometrics, Computer science or equivalent.
• Strong programming experience in Python (preferred) or other languages.
• Solid knowledge of probability, calculus and linear algebra.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quantitative models for pricing options and volatility.
• Collaborate with Traders and Software Engineers to integrate research into production systems.
• Apply stochastic modeling and Monte Carlo methods to high-frequency market data.
