Job summary

GeekSoft Consulting in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design, build and continually improve the client's online platform. The role requires 5+ years of work experience and a strong focus on CI/CD, automation and cloud infrastructure.

You will deploy, configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines, work with Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Ansible Tower, and related tools, provide L2 support for critical apps, and ensure security and compliance across the production path.

Qualifications

• Develop, maintain, and support CI/CD applications using Golang.
• Manage CI/CD platforms supporting large-scale engineering teams.
• Build, maintain, and automate CI/CD pipelines with a strong DevSecOps focus.
• Deploy, install, configure, and maintain COTS applications in cloud and on-premises environments.
• Perform L2 support for critical business applications, including incident resolution and change implementation.
• Administer and maintain Linux-based systems and infrastructure.
• Implement and manage IaC using Ansible Playbooks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure a secure, compliant development path to production.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, network, and deployment issues to ensure platform stability.
• Work with tools such as Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Nexus Lifecycle, Nexus Repository Manager, Fortify, Confluence, Ansible Tower, and NeoLoad.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes (K8s), and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible Tower and Ansible Playbooks.
• Experience supporting critical business applications at the L2 support level.
• Strong Linux administration and operating system knowledge.
• Experience with software artifact repository tools such as Nexus Repository Manager.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
