Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Leiden is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep manufacturing equipment in a safe, reliable, and compliant state. You will perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance, document work in Maximo, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and external providers.

The role requires interpreting engineering drawings, strong mechanical troubleshooting, and experience with CMMS/eCMMS systems.

Qualifications

• Technical vocational diploma or equivalent technical education.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, or maintenance environments.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Experience using CMMS/eCMMS systems.
• Ability to work safely in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment failures.
• Support installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment.
• Execute and document work orders within Maximo.
• Accompany and support external service providers during maintenance activities.
• Participate in root cause investigations and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement and maintenance excellence programs.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, Quality, and site procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and records.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
