GMP Calibration Technician – Cell Therapy

Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Specialist Calibration Technician for the Leiden Cell Therapy Facility. You will coordinate GMP calibrations for equipment and instruments as part of the Reliability Engineering team providing 24/7 support to patients.

The role involves on-call duties and working with CMMS (Maximo) to document calibration history, ensuring compliance with cGMP, SOPs and EHS standards while supporting calibration procedures and automation systems.

Qualifications

• Requires at least a MBO level 4 diploma, technical degree preferred and/or equivalent experience in maintenance, or related technical discipline
• Proficiency in reading and writing English
• 3-5 years of experience in an industry manufacturing environment and have experience with calibration activities
• Knowledge of instrumentation and different calibration methods
• Knowledge of cGMP's, SOP's, EHS and local regulatory requirements
• Must be competent in working in the CMMS (Maximo) to assure execution history of planned/unplanned calibration activities and execute calibrations electronically
• Must be competent in working in Building & Process Automation Systems to support calibrations

Responsibilities

• Coordinate GMP calibrations for equipment and instruments
• Perform planned and unplanned calibrations and assist in troubleshooting
• Ensure documentation is stored in CMMS and document management systems compliant with GxP
• Assist in creating new calibration procedures
• Maintain calibration equipment and tools in Metrology storage
• On-call duties, overtime and weekend hours as required
