Job summary

Teledyne Imaging, part of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, seeks a Director of Trade Compliance to lead the global trade compliance program across our businesses. You will mentor teams, oversee export controls, and ensure regulatory alignment with ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and CANADA laws.

You'll report to senior leadership, coordinate with the CITC, and drive proactive risk management and process improvements affecting contracts, licensing, and sanctions compliance.

Qualifications

• University bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in aerospace or high-technology industries.
• Ability to review contracts and licensing and implement regulations.
• Expert in European dual-use controls and ITAR/EAR.
• Knowledge of OFAC sanctions and Canadian trade laws.
• Experience leading trade compliance teams and programs.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain trade compliance systems and procedures.
• Guide European, U.S., and Canadian regulatory requirements.
• Oversee export licensing, sanctions, classification, and recordkeeping.
• Train and supervise export compliance staff.
• Communicate regulatory changes to business leaders.
• Lead process improvements and KPI tracking for trade compliance.
• Coordinate with CITC on inquiries and investigations.
• Support audits and internal disclosures.
