Job summary

Jobtailor in Amsterdam is seeking a creative social media assistant who loves writing or design and can publish and schedule content, engage with the community, and repurpose podcasts, reports and stories into fresh formats.

You will create carousels and other social assets, support employee advocacy, maintain content calendars, and collaborate with the Content Lead and wider teams across events, SEO, design and video.

Qualifications

• Love writing or design with interest in both.
• Understanding of what makes content interesting on social.
• Curiosity about marketing, brands and internet culture.
• Organised and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable learning new tools.
• Ability to take a clear brief and increasingly run with it.
• Initiative to suggest original ideas.
• Available to start in October.
• Available 24–40 hours per week.
• Figma skills are a big bonus.
• Experience with CMSs, social scheduling, SEO, AI tools is nice to have.
• Video editing skills are welcome.
• Must currently live in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Publish and schedule social content.
• Engage with the community and monitor conversations.
• Repurpose podcasts, reports, customer stories and existing content into new social formats.
• Create and adapt carousels, memes, quote cards, screenshots and other social assets.
• Support employee advocacy and thought-leadership programmes.
• Maintain content and social calendars.
• Upload and format website content.
• Organise and update the content library, customer proof and marketing assets.
• Support campaigns with research, assets, distribution and reporting.
• Research competitors, trends and developments in marketing.
• Assist with podcast, thought-leadership and event research.
• Identify content that can be repurposed.
• Collaborate with the Content Lead, Content Marketer and wider specialists across events, SEO, design, video and growth.
• Progressively take on greater ownership of marketing production and execution.
