Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Sevenum is looking for a Global Tender Specialist for road transport. The role involves transforming international transport requests into competitive proposals and coordinating with global sales and local teams.

The successful candidate will analyze tender requirements, gather input, calculate rates, and manage all tender data in Microsoft Dynamics. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience in road transport and excellent English communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in road transport.
• A passion for the profession, preferably supported by a higher professional education (HBO) degree in logistics or business administration.
• Excellent analytical skills combined with strong communication abilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and other data-processing systems.
• Accuracy, resilience under pressure, and excellent command of English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Analyze tender requirements and translate customer needs into a clear tender plan.
• Gather, check and validate input from all involved countries.
• Calculate transport rates and prepare accurate and competitive commercial offers.
• Register and manage all tender data in Microsoft Dynamics (CRM).
• Act as the single point of contact for both the customer and internal teams throughout the entire tender process.
