Mead Johnson Nijmegen is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager for a global raw materials portfolio with an annual spend of about €70 million. You will lead a team across the Netherlands and China, shaping sourcing strategies and managing major supplier contracts to secure supply and drive cost efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-cultural collaboration, and experience in dairy ingredients or similar commodity-driven categories, plus a track record of negotiating high-value

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Food Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 7 years of procurement, sourcing or category management experience in food, nutrition, FMCG, dairy, pharmaceutical or manufacturing industries.
• Strong experience in global sourcing, supplier relationship management and category strategy development.

• Developing and executing global sourcing and category strategies for key raw material categories, including dairy ingredients.
• Building strategic supplier partnerships to secure supply and unlock innovation.
• Leading major contract negotiations and managing high-value supplier agreements.
• Monitoring commodity markets, supplier capabilities and regulatory developments to anticipate risks.
• Driving productivity and cost optimization while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Identifying and qualifying new suppliers to strengthen continuity and growth.
• Partnering with R&D and Quality to support innovation and ingredient tech developments.
• Leading supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Managing supply chain risks and developing mitigation strategies for supply continuity.
• Coaching procurement professionals in Europe and China.
