Job summary

Heineken is offering an internship in Global Government & Public Affairs in Amsterdam, Netherlands. You will work with colleagues across markets to navigate political, regulatory, and societal developments shaping our business in 70+ countries.

You will monitor policy developments, conduct research, and support stakeholder engagement while contributing to the global public affairs strategy. A 6‑month, full‑time internship with hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor''s or master''s degree.
Genuine interest in public affairs, public policy and current affairs.
Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
Enjoy working in an international environment and collaborating across cultures.
Excellent written and spoken English; Dutch is a plus for Netherlands-related work.

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyse political, tax and regulatory developments relevant to Heineken and the brewing industry.
Conduct research and translate insights into actionable recommendations for internal stakeholders.
Support stakeholder engagement activities and relationships with governments and industry bodies.
Help shape and deliver the team''s global public affairs strategy, including the Dutch Connectivity programme.
Support a broad range of public policy and government relations initiatives across markets.
