Job summary

Mars Food & Nutrition in Oud-Beijerland, Netherlands, is seeking a Product Development & Culinary Scientist to transform consumer needs into innovative food solutions. This permanent, full-time role blends food science, culinary expertise, and product development from concept to market readiness.

You will lead global innovation workstreams, collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Supply, and Quality teams, and own product attributes from taste to nutrition and cost, ensuring scalable manufacturing and

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in developing food products in R&D, innovation, manufacturing, or product development.
Strong understanding of ingredients, recipe formulation, food technologies, and manufacturing processes.
Fluent English written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Lead product development activities across innovation projects from concept through launch.
Translate briefs into compelling propositions aligned with consumer, customer, and business needs.
Develop scientifically sound and culinary-inspired product solutions delivering global food strategy.
Partner with Global and Regional teams to set targets and successful implementation paths.
Balance consumer desirability, technical feasibility, and cost in product development workstreams.
Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
