Job summary

JDE Peet's is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - Global Product Costing in Utrecht to lead end-to-end product costing, delivering accurate COGS, forecasting, and analysis. You will coordinate analysts, influence cost drivers, and partner with FP&A, Manufacturing, and Procurement to drive cost transparency and continuous improvement.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in finance-related costing roles, strong Excel skills, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or related field.
• 5+ years in Finance, FP&A, Controlling, or Product Costing, preferably FMCG.
• Experience coordinating complex financial processes with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to influence decisions.
• Advanced Excel and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Solid understanding of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Procurement cost drivers.
• Experience in Product Costing or Standard Costing is a plus.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and guide a team of Global Product Costing Analysts to ensure timely, accurate delivery of total COGS for forecasts and planning cycles (AOP).
• Manage end-to-end product costing process, including assumptions alignment and dependency management.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of product cost calculations across markets and categories.
• Review and validate standard costs, cost calculations, and outputs in SAP.
• Analyze cost movements, variances and key drivers; provide actionable insights.
• Serve as a financial sparring partner to FP&A and operational stakeholders.
