Job summary

The Finance Analyst – Global Product Costing at JDE Peet’s, based in Utrecht, will own standard product costs and COGS at SKU level, prepare forecasts, and partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D and Commercial teams to safeguard cost accuracy and transparency.

You will translate cost data into actionable insights for strategic and operating decisions, support New Product Development with timely cost calculations, and drive continuous cost improvements in a global FMCG

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field.
• +3 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Controlling, or Product Costing, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Analytical skills with high accuracy, ownership, and attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience working with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Procurement is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and maintain accurate standard product costs and COGS at SKU level
• Prepare and analyze cost forecasts based on commodities, conversion, and supply chain costs
• Perform product cost calculations, variance analysis, and reconciliations in SAP
• Analyze cost movements, identify key drivers, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
• Support New Product Development by delivering timely and accurate cost calculations
• Act as a financial business partner, ensuring cost transparency and decision support across functions
