Job summary

Panda International is looking for a Global Procurement Data & Insights Manager to lead the data governance, KPI standardization, and self-service reporting across a global procurement function. Hybrid work in Utrecht with a focus on cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision making.

You will partner with IT and senior stakeholders to harmonize ERP and procurement data, implement predictive analytics, and shape the data strategy for procurement across regions and functions.

Global Procurement Data & Insights Manager

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands

Working arrangement: Hybrid

We are partnering with a leading global coffee company to recruit a Global Procurement Data & Insights Manager to join its Procurement Excellence team.

This is a highly influential role for a data and analytics professional who can combine strong technical expertise with the ability to influence stakeholders across a complex, global organization.

Reporting to the Procurement Excellence Director, you will own the procurement data and analytics agenda, defining governance frameworks, KPI standards and self-service reporting capabilities that support fact-based decision-making across the organization.

You will act as Procurement's business owner for data, working closely with IT to connect and harmonize data across ERP and procurement platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a global procurement data governance framework, including data quality standards, KPI definitions and master data rules.
• Define and maintain a global KPI dictionary, ensuring consistent usage across functions, regions and leadership reporting.
• Build and deliver a centralized Procurement reporting suite and implement self-service BI capabilities.
• Develop predictive analytics use cases, including spend forecasting, Total Cost of Ownership simulations and risk early warning.
• Work with tools such as R and Python to support predictive analytics initiatives.
• Partner closely with IT to define data architecture, harmonization rules and integration requirements across procurement tools.
• Drive adoption through stakeholder engagement, data literacy initiatives and continuous improvement of reporting quality.
• Translate complex data and technical topics into clear, actionable insights for category teams, regional leads and senior leadership.

About You

• Expert knowledge of data governance, KPI frameworks and data quality management in a global procurement environment.
• Advanced skills in enterprise BI tools, data modelling and SQL.
• Strong experience working with SAP data, including S/4HANA.
• Experience with predictive analytics and working knowledge of R and/or Python.
• Proven ability to translate data strategy into actionable roadmaps.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed procurement or finance environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Desirable: Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Azure, Databricks and data lake or data warehouse concepts.
