Job summary

Enza Zaden is seeking a Global Portfolio Manager for several open field crops. You will optimize the global product portfolio, connect strategy with data and market insights, and lead multidisciplinary teams across regions to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.

You bring a completed bachelor’s degree and at least five years in product/portfolio management in an international environment, with an agri-/horticultural background and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/BSc or higher in agriculture, business, marketing, or related field.
• At least five years in product/portfolio management, marketing, or sales in an international setting.
• Agri-/horticultural background and knowledge of seeds, crops, and international markets.
• Strong ability to translate data into clear portfolio decisions and actions.
• Excellent collaboration, influencing, and leadership across departments.
• Willingness to travel regularly for business.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the product portfolio through lifecycle management and assortment strategy.
• Translate global strategy into strategic market plans and monitor progress.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and align cross-functional opportunities with product development.
• Manage product flow, inventory, and obsolete varieties; monitor sales plans.
• Define positioning, pricing, and global allocation of varieties with stakeholders.
• Oversee variety registration and Plant Breeders’ Rights activities when needed.
