Job summary

Enza Zaden is seeking a Global Portfolio Manager to optimize the product portfolio across open field crops. You will connect strategy, data, and market insights while leading multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment between commercial opportunities, product development, and availability.

You will translate global crop strategy into short- and mid-term plans, drive profitability, and collaborate across Marketing & Sales, Breeding, and Seed Operations.

Qualifications

• As a Global Portfolio Manager, translate market developments, sales data, and customer needs into a clear portfolio strategy.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and connect stakeholders across departments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to balance commercial opportunities, availability, pricing, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the product portfolio through lifecycle management and assortment strategy.
• Translate global crop strategy into strategic market and tactical action plans.
• Lead cross-functional projects and align commercial opportunities with development and availability.
• Define positioning, pricing, and global allocation of new and existing varieties.
• Oversee variety registration and Plant Breeders’ Rights considerations where applicable.
• Collaborate with Regional Product Managers and commercial teams.
