Job summary

APM Terminals in The Hague is seeking a Senior PMO to support, maintain, and continuously improve the Project Management Framework across our global Business Implementation Management portfolio.

Based in The Hague, you will provide PMO guidance, governance, and constructive challenge to project teams and senior stakeholders, strengthening project controls, reporting, and the consistent application of standards across major greenfield and brownfield terminal projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in PMO, project controls, or related roles.
• Experience in major civil infrastructure, ports, or capital projects.
• Strong governance, reporting, and document management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English; other languages an advantage.
• Willingness to travel 15–25% globally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve PMO framework and standards.
• Provide guidance to project teams and senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate governance routines, stage-gate reviews, and reporting.
• Implement project controls across schedule, cost, scope, risk.
• Manage document management and lessons learned repository.
• Plan and facilitate workshops; onboard teams to PMO standards.
